(NASDAQ:LPCN), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on metabolic and endocrine disorders, today announced the closing of a public offering of (i) 10,450,000 Class A Units, each consisting of shares of its common stock and common warrants to purchase its common stock and (ii) 1,550,000 Class B Units consisting of pre-funded warrants and warrants to purchase its common stock, at a price of $0.50 per Class A Unit and $0.4999 per Class B Unit, for total gross proceeds to the Company of approximately $6.0 million, before deducting placement agent fees and other estimated offering expenses. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for working capital and general corporate purposes.
