Lipocine Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock

SALT LAKE CITYApril 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lipocine Inc. (Nasdaq:LPCN), a specialty pharmaceutical company, today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of its common stock. In addition, Lipocine expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15 percent of the shares of common stock offered in the public offering solely to cover over-allotments, if any. The offering is subject to market conditions and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.

Lipocine currently intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include additions to working capital and capital expenditures.
